Ignition SCADA - Cooling System Monitoring

We developed a smart system that allows users to monitor and improve their cooling system performance using Ignition Perspective. The system has a user-friendly interface that shows real-time and historical data. While using Active Directory for authentication, and internal Ignition Database for client-side role management, both the Production Team and IT Department were very happy with the application's security.

Siemens HMI - Paint Filtration System

The ECUBE HMI Upgrade project aimed to enhance the monitoring and control capabilities of the paint filtration system by adding four new Siemens compatible HMIs, additional wiring and communication cabling, and additional electrical cabinets. The software was programmed to track and store alarms and faults for each individual cube. The screens were designed to show various information and visuals for each system, such as fill levels, damper position, flow rate, differential pressures, locking arm positions, docking position, calculation constants, faults, alarms, mode, and RFID. The screens also allowed the operator to access pop-up windows for status, faults, control, values, and coefficients for each zone and cube.

Custom Users, Roles, and Email Rosters

Expanding more on the client-side role management, this client also wanted the ability for users to opt in and out of particular alarm emails. Having this capability is appreciated by Maintenance personnel that don't want to see emails about equipment failures while they are away from the office. Customizing rosters and schedules lets this SCADA system know who should receive emails and when.
